This next generation wireless technology is based on the 802.11g draft specification and delivers faster speeds while protecting customer investment in existing wireless networks.
With speeds of 54Mbps, NETGEAR’s new wireless product line delivers faster performance than other existing wireless technology in the 2.4 GHz frequency range, while maintaining backward compatibility with all other standards-based products in that spectrum NETGEAR’s new line also delivers next generation wireless security with the deployment of Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA), Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) and Temporal Key Integrity Protocol (TKIP).
